At approximately 1:55 PM CT, the Rackspace Cloud Operations team identified an issue within our WC1.DFW Data Center that is affecting website connectivity. Currently, customer sites may be down or experiencing latency in their connectivity. Our Operations team is actively working to resolve the issue.
UPDATE: At 2:10 PM CT, our Engineers identified the issue as a DNS caching issue and the effects have been mitigated in WC1. The Rackspace Cloud Operations team has made configuration changes to resolve the effects of this issue on that WC1. Those affected services are now functional, and we will continue to monitor closely.
UPDATE: At approximately 2:15 PM CT, the Rackspace Cloud Operations team identified an issue within our WC2.DFW Data Center that is affecting website connectivity. Currently, customer sites may be down or experiencing latency in their connectivity. Our Operations team is actively working to resolve the issue.
UPDATE: At 2:20 PM CT, our Engineers made configuration changes to resolve the effects of this DNS resolution and caching issue on WC2. Those affected services in both WC1 and WC2 are now functional, and we will continue to monitor closely.
