At approximately 12:10 PM CT, Rackspace Support has identified intermittent issues with customer access to and use of FTP. Currently, Rackspace Engineers are investigation the issue; however, this seems to be very intermittent. If we have any more information, we will be posting it within this post.
[UPDATE @1:50 PM CT] Rackspace Engineers continue to investigate the issue; however, as a workaround, sFTP can be used to connect. We will continue to keep this POST in MONITORING as this only affects a very small cluster of customers. We will be updating this post with more information as we get it.
[UPDATE - 2/21] As of this evening, this issue has been resolved and functionality has been restored. If you continue to experience issues with connecting, make sure you are connecting with ftp.<yourdomain>.com or by using Secure FTP (SFTP). You may also utilize the secondary FTP host which you can find within your General Settings Tab of your control panel. As always, please come through to Support if you need further assistance.
